Revisiting this design on a slightly wider shade. Simple flower shapes cropped within a round, highlighted with machine stitching. Makes a pretty bedside light.
The print is an opaque cream which forms a shadowy silhouette when the shade is lit. Tiny pin pricks of machine embroidery add an extra sparkle.
Screen printed by hand in my studio using waterbased inks onto a translucent, laminated, parchment paper.
Shade Measures: Diameter 8" x 6" High / 20cm x 15cm
As seen here on one of my simple turned wooden bases.
The height of the shade and base is 20" / 50cm
The fitting for the lamp holder is inset 1.5" from base of the shade where the stem part of print is.
Has a dual E14/E27 fitting depending on your lamp base fittings. I can email photos if you need more info.
Please note if you wanted to have it as a pendant shade, the leaves will be upside down.
Please note that the design is cropped at the seam, so it's not a complete circle on the overlap.
