Easy Squeegee Kids is a fun print workshop run during the school holidays. Aimed at 8-13 years. Each session involves playful experimentation and screen printing with paper stencils. Includes a T-shirt or tote bag.
A chance to print something unique to take home and wear, carry or hang on the wall. We'll have some drawing and cutting exercises to start each session as a springboard for ideas to flow and grow. Only 4 children per class, so nice and small with lots of help to develop their designs.
Parents and carers are welcome to join this class as paying participants, but must be accompanied by a child or two! It's slightly shorter than a regular adult class but a great way to have some creative time together, away from home without the messy aftermath!
I have plenty of books and props at the studio but if there is anything your child wants to bring along to the session to draw from, that's fine too.
I currently have 2 dates available in the summer holidays 28th and 29th July at 10am-Noon - please see the dates in the drop-down options to book. An information and consent form will then be sent to you.
If you'd like to request another date and can muster a little group together, please get in touch at email@example.com and let me know the date you would prefer.
Monday to Friday availability - mornings 10am -12nooon or afternoons 2-4pm
I'm also happy to take family bookings of up to 4 if you wanted to bring along younger children.
For children's print parties or family bookings - please see my other listing to book.

During these uncertain times and the risk of COVID-19, I have adapted the class to reduce sharing of equipment. The children will be viewed as being in a group bubble. Handwashing and sanitising will be encouraged during the class and I will be wearing a face covering if required, throughout the session.
'My 10-year-old son and 5 mates had the most brilliant experience - and created & produced some fabulous prints! Can’t rate this workshop enough! Thank you so much!'
'The class was absolutely fantastic, a group of 6 kids ranging from 5-13yrs old. I wasn't sure what to expect. .but we all couldn't be happier. My 5yr old loved making his own t-shirt. Helen was calm and explained all the processes to the children. It was all very hands on and allowed the kids to be creative and independent with their designs. As soon as their session ended they wanted us to re-book. We are all definitely going back!'
'My daughter and her friend attended Helen's workshop. There were items laid out to inspire them and help them come up with their own ideas. They produced lovely bags and came out with a very good idea of how to screen print.'
'I learnt how to screen print tops and bags. Helen was very nice and helped me in doing a hard cut out. The venue was inspiring and very intresting. I would definitly go there again, infact I'm already booked on two workshops which I am looking forward to!' (Greta age 9)
