Taking inspiration from our natural environment and beyond to produce unique screen prints on to a bag or t-shirt using paper cut stencils.

This is an expressive session of drawing, painting and paper cutting, for children to explore the wonderful world of screen printing in a working studio setting. Easy Squeegee Kids is holding some one off Sunday specials at a fully equipped print studio in the Chocolate Factory, Stoke Newington. Each session will involve playful experimentation on a variety of themes, with a chance to print something unique to take home, wear, carry or hang on the wall, the themes are very loose and just a spring board for ideas to flow and grow. Up to 6 children per class, so nice and small with lots of help to develop their ideas. This is a drop off event for ages 8 -12. Teens are also welcome if you wanted to make a group booking and for private party bookings please see my print party listing.
No experience required, just lots of enthusiasm to try something new.
It's a messy business, so please wear clothes that don't mind the odd splatter of ink, especially watch out for shoes! I provide aprons but that pesky ink can strike at any time. All inks are water based and non-toxic.
The studio is part of a group of 27 studios at the Chocolate Factory, a wonderful old Victorian conversion and an aesthetically designed new build surround a beautiful cobbled yard brimming with plants and flowers.
Fully enhanced DBS certificate and public liabilty insurance. As my studio is on the 1st floor, accessed by a metal staircase, it is unfortunately, not wheelchair accessible.

I have plenty of books and props at the studio but if there is anything your child wants to bring along to the session, such as their sketchbook, a favourite book or toy to draw from, that's fine too.
